Turn on the emergency generators Turn on the four emergency generators. Most of the time, though, this won’t finish the Activity. Your goal is to “Power up the Metro Station” by finding a fuse box and throwing the switch. You’ll have to head down the stairs at night and clear out any enemies you find - Infected or, later, Renegades. When you first arrive at a Metro Station, it won’t be active. Metro Station Activity Power up the Metro Station Power up the Metro Station. That will take you to the Map where you can choose your destination. The map in every Metro Stations allows you to Fast Travel without going into your map first. Head to your Map, and hover over one of the icons with the three arrows. Once a Fast Travel destination or Metro Station is unlocked, you’ll be able to Fast Travel to them from anywhere at any time (as long as you’re not actively in a story mission). When you unlock every Metro Station, you’ll earn the Tube Map achievement or trophy. When you unlock the first Metro Station, you’ll get the Tunnel Entrance achievement or trophy. The other eight require you to find them and complete each one’s Metro Station Nighttime Activity. Two of them - Main Terminal Station in Quarry End and PK Floating Fortress in The Wharf unlock as you progress through the main story. Once you enter, all you'll need to do is get past the bandits or zombies and flip a switch to get the station up and running. Metro Stations are occupied by zombies or bandits, and you'll never know who's inside until you enter. The second you enter one for the first time, you'll be greeted with this prompt. And activating a metro station isn't too complicated either. So if you want to use fast travel more effectively, it's in your best interest to activate a few stations. There are only a few key spots in-game that you can fast travel to without using a metro station. ![]() Metro Stations can be found all around the map with a train icon and serve as fast travel beacons. Once you've made it, you'll be able to fast travel freely from Old Villedor to the Central Loop. While in Old Villedor it won't be available, but the second you make it to the Central Loop, you'll unlock fast travel. To unlock the fast travel feature, you're going to need to complete a few Main Quests first. ![]()
